Two men, aged 33 and 35, have been arrested in the UK on suspicion of running an illegal TV subscription service, involving unauthorized access to Sky TV packages sold via a Telegram channel.
The operation, which allegedly earned over £800,000, is thought to be part of a larger criminal network involved in various crimes, including cyber-crime. The suspects, apprehended in Essex, Hertfordshire, and Scotland, are also suspected of fraud, money laundering, and intellectual property offences.
Authorities seized £17,000 in cash, streaming devices, and digital devices. The men have been released on bail as investigations continue.
